If you already have your Aadhaar number, you can download your Aadhaar card online by following these simple steps:


Step 1: Visit the UIDAI Website




Go to the official website of UIDAI at .


Step 2: Enter Your Aadhaar Number and Other Details




On the e-Aadhaar page, select the "Aadhaar" option from the "I have" section. Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the field provided. You can also choose to mask your Aadhaar number by ticking the "Masked Aadhaar?" option. This will hide the first 8 digits of your Aadhaar number and show only the last 4 digits on your downloaded Aadhaar card.


Next, enter your full name and pin code as registered in your Aadhaar card. Enter the security code or captcha displayed on the screen. Click on the "Send OTP" button to receive a one-time password on your registered mobile number. Alternatively, you can also use the "Enter a TOTP" option to enter a time-based OTP generated by the mAadhaar app on your smartphone.


Step 3: Verify Your OTP and Download Your Aadhaar Card




Enter the OTP or TOTP that you received or generated in the field provided. Click on the "Verify And Download" button to download your e-Aadhaar card in PDF format. You can open the PDF file using a password that consists of the first four letters of your name in capital letters and your year of birth. For example, if your name is Ramesh Kumar and your year of birth is 1985, then your password will be RAME1985.


You can now print or save your e-Aadhaar card for future use. It is equally valid as your physical Aadhaar card and can be used for various purposes.


How to Download Aadhaar Card by Enrolment ID




If you do not have your Aadhaar number yet, but you have applied for it and received an enrolment ID (EID), you can still download your Aadhaar card online by using your EID. The EID is a 28-digit number that contains your 14-digit enrolment number and 14-digit date and time of enrolment. You can find it on the acknowledgement slip that you received at the time of enrolment. To download your Aadhaar card by EID, follow these steps:
