The Importance of Regulation

The Role of Technology in Prescriptions

Digital health technologies are transforming how prescription drugs are managed. E-prescriptions allow doctors to send prescriptions directly to pharmacies, reducing errors and improving efficiency. AI tools help analyze patient data to recommend the most suitable drug therapies based on genetic makeup and disease progression.

Pharmaceutical companies are also using digital platforms to monitor post-market safety, educate providers, and improve patient adherence through apps and wearable tech.

Prescription Drug Misuse and Safety

Despite their benefits, prescription drugs carry risks, especially when misused. Some key concerns include:
